December- Feburary News

In December I went to Canton Ohio to visit a long time friend Scott Cecil. During the time there, I recorded two new songs " I Will Call Your Name" and " Back To You". You can listen to " I Will Call Your Name" on www.soundclick.com by going to the site and typing Lewis Moore in the artist area search.

December through May is a very buisy time for me. I get calls weekly from people wanting lessons in guitar , piano and voice. I teach in LaGrange on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Dawson Street Accademy and at Toms Music. On Mondays and Wednesdays I teach at my office in West Point. If you are interested in lessons , please contact me as soon as possable because time slots are filling up fast.

Welcome To My Blog

welcome to my first blog. Today while I was at the gym I was watching CNN and they were talking about the popularity of bloggs so I decided to go ahead and create one. First I would like to tell you a little bit of information about myself. My name is Lewis Moore and I have been teaching music for over 30 years.

My first introduction to music was when I was in the 8th grade. My
parents bought me a cheep plastic guitar from Sears . I played that guitar untill it finally broke and when my next birthday came arround they bought me a Gibson Less Paul Jr. which I still own today. A couple of months later I was playing in local bands and even taught some of my friends to play. As years passed by when I finished high school I decided to major in music.

Ever since then music has been a pasion in my life and I recieve weekly calls for guitar and piano lessons. Since I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ , I believe music is a calling in my life whether it is teaching students are performing in churches or other events. You can listen to some of my original compositions at my web site. www.hiddentalentmusic.com

Anyway I am looking forward to reading your comments and suggestions.
Please feel free to share information about yourself and your involvement in music.
